I do not get to shoot many weddings these days, so when I was asked to shoot a wedding for some friends from school, I was more than happy to take on the job.
Although we have never been close friends, I have known Matt and Tracey since I was about 14, and they are two very nice people who deserve all the happiness that comes their way.
The wedding took place at the Mecure Parkside, Woughton-on-the-Green, Milton Keynes, a place that I have shot several weddings at in the past. This once was to be slightly different, as the hotel has extended their main function room – and this is the first wedding I have shot their where I have not had to contend with rain!
The day itself was very relaxed. I knew several people who attended the wedding, so in between dashing around to make sure I captured the day how the couple wanted me to, I was able to catch up with friends I have not seen for a while. Everyone involved with the day made it such a pleasure to be a part of – I do not think I have ever shot a wedding that has been so relaxed!
Now on to the next stage – selecting and editing the images to show to the couple on their return from their honeymoon…
